While experience in the signage or print industry is preferred, we also welcome applicants with transferable skills. A transferable skill is an ability or expertise which may be used in a variety of roles or occupations and could be a complementary asset for particular signage and printing positions. Graphic Designers
We are looking for graphic designers who are interested in working on a diverse range of projects, such as shopfront design, print graphics, commercial vehicle graphics, retail signage and many others.
In any given day you could be:
- Reviewing customer provided artwork to ensure it is suitable for printing.
- Creating signage designs from a customer supplied brief.
- Creating artwork proofs and emailing them to our customers.
- Setting up artwork files to strict specifications for our printing & manufacturing equipment and providers.
- Communicating with our customers and production team via phone and email.
- Proofing, setting up and designing many jobs a day. This is a fast-paced role.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Strong presentation skills and writing skills is a definite advantage.
Qualification in graphic design, visual communication is desired, two or more years of professional experience in graphic design and / or signage design.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign)
Acceptable Alternative Experience
Proven experience, work history, and portfolio work may be substituted for education or qualifications on a case-by-case basis.

Production Operatives & Installers
Creating and installing signs requires being skilled at working with your hands as well as understanding measurements, tolerances and specifications, just like many other jobs. You will also need to know how to use power tools and equipment.
Vinyl graphics application involves applying vinyl graphics and full wraps to various surfaces such as vehicles, interiors, retail windows and more. If you have these skills and are interested in learning more, if you are energetic, enthusiastic, and have a flair for good ideas and creative thinking, you could be a good candidate.
This role may also require running several types of equipment, such as wide-format printers, laminators and engineering equipment.Having experience in making and installing signage and graphics would be great, but your transferable skills from other jobs can be helpful too. If you have experience in construction, carpentry, cladding installation or shopfitting, it could be an advantage. Although prior experience in the signage or print industry would be beneficial, full training will be provided.There are different positions available depending on your skills, such as senior and junior positions. Senior positions require a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
